It was a chilly, moonless night. I couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard I tried. I was thinking about him. I had no idea why he was on my mind. After all, he was such a nuisance, like a niggling fly continuously buzzing around my head. He was the one who always had that foolish smile on his face.
